press release
Thursday September 08, 2011 18:16 by Pat Riot - Irish Economic Restoration Association
Response to his address to the Oireachtas Commitee on Finance
This open Letter of Acceptance of Contract was sent to Michael Noonan T.D. Minister for Finance and copies have been sent to all TDs and media outlets, We the People of Ireland will take the responsibility that the stooges in the Dáil are afraid to take. We accept the contract to resolve the financial crisis and the mortgage scandal, we can and will remedy the situation, we are not paid by big business or shadowy power brokers, We accept this challenge because our political leaders have shown themselves to be impotent, we stand willing and able to take all actions necessary to get us out of the hole that the politicians have put us in.
Minister Noonan You have [10] Ten days to reply to this acceptance of contract after which time we will deem it as binding. For The Attention of:
Minister for Finance Michael Noonan T.D.;
RE: Response to the opening statement of Michael Noonan TD to the Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform on 01/09/2011
Dear Ministers,
We would like to bring to your attention certain irregularities from the above mentioned statement given by Mr. Michael Noonan TD.
Firstly may we state our utter disappointment with the manner in which Mr. Noonan offered sound bites and twisted language as a method of distraction when speaking about the distressed mortgage holders, The use of your term “there is no “magic bullet” has a very dark undertone that suggests that people in Mortgage difficulty are comparable to werewolves or ungodly creatures, While the sound-bite may have afforded you an opportunity to use a psychological imagery phrase that would help you to demonise those people, it has not gone unnoticed, if you felt the need for a catchphrase, you could have used a less offensive sound-bite such as “Magic Wand” or perhaps you could have been honest without the need for a sound-bite and said “ We do not have the will or courage to tackle these issues which were brought about in no small part by the negligence and fiscal shenanigans of the banks and the department of finance”.
The second part of that statement “One size fits all”, that is both misleading and a corruption of presentation, nobody other than yourself has ever used that language when referring to the mortgage crisis, not one commentator or analyst suggested that all mortgage holders should be bundled together and we recognise that by you trying to bundle all together it is a pre-emptive move that is designed to further alienate the people mostly in need by including them in future statements that will reflect the situation of large property developers and not families.
In your statement, you uttered; “there are several important existing measures in place to support and protect mortgage holders in difficulty”. I would be grateful if you would clarify what those measures are to protect people who have fallen into debt through job loss, disability, reduced income etc. from what I see there is no protection for them, you have merely initiated a bureaucratic illusion of assistance and protection where none exists. I have read carefully the CCMA and MARP, neither of which offer assurance or protection to families that, through no fault of their own have been made poor and are under continued financial attack due to rising inflation costs in the basic necessities such as heat, fuel, food etc. These initiatives that you have spoken about only serve to arm the adversary of the troubled mortgage holder.
Your department is so out of touch with the real world that they believe that people trust the banks, let me tell you, nobody trusts the banks, they have been caught red handed stealing from their customers on a number of occasions, they have conspired against the state, the revenue commissioners and the people of Ireland by facilitating illegal tax evasion, fraud and the use of off shore bank accounts, they have knowingly over charged their own customers for services and even stole from their own customers accounts without any one of them facing legal action or state sanctions, do you really think that there is any trust in the banks any more, do you believe that you have the right to tell people to put their trust in this criminal empire when clearly they have no regard for anything other than their own balance sheet?
Minister, it is time that we all recognise that you are being negligent in your responsibility to the people you are mandated to protect, you are guilty of deriliction of duty Mr. Noonan.
In your words “Solutions must be found on a case-by-case basis through open and meaningful engagement between the distressed borrower and the lender” and “I would like to stress that it is important that mortgage holders in difficulty, or who feel that they may face difficulty in the foreseeable future, discuss their situation with their lender at the earliest possible opportunity”, These statements are prime examples of you passing the buck, it was made very clear at the outset of this calamity, that included in the bank bailouts was a consideration to cover ALL mortgage debts, not some as you suggested in your statement to the Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform.
In Summary ;
Your Appeal for people to contract; "that mortgage holders in difficulty, or who feel that they may face difficulty in the foreseeable future, discuss their situation with their lender at the earliest possible opportunity".
We/us are hereby informing you of our acceptance of the verbal contract offered by you Mr. Michael Noonan (Minister for Finance) at your opening statement to the Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform on September 1st 2011.
As we, the people of the Republic of Ireland are majority shareholders of the lending institutions concerned, we are confident that we can reach agreement with us the borrowers / alleged borrowers.
On behalf of Irish borrowers/lenders in difficulty we agree to talk with one another to achieve satisfactory remedy and settle all outstanding mortgage and borrowing claims / alleged claims.
We recognise that the people tasked with resolving the debt issue and mortgage crisis'; Bankers/ department of finance/ civil servants/ TDs etc were working under the influences of parties including but not limited to: IMF, European Commission, ECB, Irish Central Bank and various Bank Bondholders that may not have been acting in the best interests of the people of The Republic of Ireland and we undertake to present solutions to counter their negative impact on the prosperity and sovereignty of The Republic of Ireland.
We further recognise that home evictions and certain austerity measures may be illegal and/or unlawful and/or unconstitutional; we undertake to investigate any and all such injustices as they may be and to offer remedy.
We Would be grateful for a response from any interested party with a view to assist in finding a satisfactory remedy.

Jump To Comment: 2 1While I (like many others I suspect) greatly value your efforts, and wish to be supportive of them, I nevertheless feel that it might help to keep certain other things in mind as well.
For a start, almost all the people of the Republic of Ireland have (by now) been very skilfully "turned into a compliant herd of sheep": and none more so perhaps than our "elected representatives" (so called).
Far more importantly, exactly the same is true (I believe) of the people of the United States of America: and that -- in my opinion -- is a very much more serious matter, having due regard for the awesome military "big stick" which the United States President has at his disposal, and who appears to be "in bed", and very well tucked up, with Wall Street and The City of London.
Inextricably bound up with the situation described above is the fact that (as I see things) the written constitutions of both nations have been ENTIRELY usurped (in all areas of significant importance to them) by what I tend to think of as "The Ruling Elite Monsters"; and, woe betide anyone who tries to challenge their outrageous and almost unbelievably arrogant, corrupt, vicious, and unrelenting, wrongdoing: as I have found out to my extreme cost, and which includes three failed attempts to criminalise me (so far) since 2002.
Believe me, there are VERY good reasons why vast numbers of people (here and elsewhere) have been "turned into a compliant herd of sheep", and the very difficult to deal with phenomenon of impunity, whereby the "The Ruling Elite Monsters" can unlawfully and immorally put themselves above the law and everybody else beneath it (with the greatest of ease please note!!) -- thanks very largely to our red-rotten with corruption legal profession in the Republic of Ireland -- is a key factor in all of this.
Nevertheless, and as I have very little left to lose now, I keep on trying to expose the wrongdoing of these "Monsters from Hell" -- as I tend see them, more and more as time goes on -- as best I can; and, for anybody interested, my two most recent attempts (using very similar texts for both "attacks") can be viewed at the following two www locations:
http://www.humanrightsireland.com/SocialProtectionMinis...l.htm
http://www.opednews.com/Diary/The-Constitutional-Crisis....html
I sincerely hope that somehow, in some small way, my challenges might hopefully supplement (and not in any way detract!!) from your entirely separate efforts.
Fantastic letter, represents the person on the ground going through the trauma while Mr Noonan passes the book and does actually nothing to rescue these citizens in distress.
Congratulations and well done to the Author.
