Kevin Tracey Continues his fight for Justice

Inspector refuses to become a Whistleblower

On Wednesday , 14 September, an ill Kevin Tracey continued his protest outside the Houses of Parliament.

Amid a tumultuous setting of protest upon protest on the opening day of the Dáil, Kevin Tracey sat, often hidden by the multitude, protesting against the multiple malicious summonses issued by the State that have made his life a hell for the past eleven years.

Having failed so far to get a fair deal from the Irish courts he has taken his protest to the gates of Dáil Éireann, though ill and under doctor's orders.

Outside the Dáil he spoke to the Navan miners, Cllr Philip Cantwell, Joan Collins TD, Richard Boyd Barrett TD, Mary Mitchell O'Connor TD and many fellow protestors who expressed shock and solidarity.

Inspector John Keenan of Pearse Street again appeared on the scene and as I pointed to Kevin's poster, I asked him (the Inspector) to become a whistleblower in the case.

The inspector at first denied knowledge but I reminded him that he had visited Kevin's house to apologise for Garda behaviour. Although accepting this, he said that he did not agree with Kevin's version of events. But when I told him that I knew too much of the case in and outside of the courts for him to fool me, he withdrew.

It looked, from his attitude, that he would not become a whistleblower.

There are a lot of heavy and quite toxic accusations made against the Irish police force, the judiciary and the courts service by Mr Tracey.

If they are true, I would like to know if questions have been put down in the Irish Parliament, for example about the retrospective drafting of an Order of the High Court, which has apparently stymied Mr Tracey in appealing his case to the Supreme Court ?

To be quite candid, the scenario set out on this website concerning Mr Tracey reads like a story from the pen of the late Franz Kafka.

It is either a truly shocking affair or the product of a very fertile imagination.

If it is the latter I would suggest that the author/s strike out and make a very good living for themselves as fiction writers.

If it is the former then the relevant Minister and his Department have serious questions to answer.

It is such a pity that not one of the people, within the system, who knows the fabrication against Kevin Tracey will come forward. I know we all worry about our jobs and are afraid to put our heads above the parapet but loss of peace of mind must be an even bigger loss than the potential loss of wages? Perhaps if a few people, within the system, who know and care about what is going on banded together? Or if somebody was to anonymously contact the papers with what they know. Or if someone was to anonymously send Kevin a document from within that would help him? Something.................anything! It is amazing how the smallest bit of info can sometimes topple frame-ups.

The truth will set you free.
