Real Democracy Now!

We wish you to invite you to our protest march and open forum on Saturday 15th October.
posteroct15.jpg

We will assemble at 2pm at The Garden of Remembrance. Under the slogan “We will not pay for their crisis” we intend marching to the site of the ongoing Dame Street occupation.. Everyone is welcome to speak at our open forum and share their opinions and proposals on democracy and how it should work. There we will hold an open forum in which you can share your opinions and proposals for regarding the state of our ‘democracy’, the financial system and the ongoing attacks on social welfare and public services in Ireland.

Our movement has been inspired by the hundreds of thousands of people who took to the streets across Spain on the 15th of May to call for a truly participative democracy, to oppose political corruption and reject the austerity being imposed on them. We also show solidarity with The Occupy Wall St movement in New York and all other pro-democracy movements that oppose the dictatorship of the financial markets and corporations. We believe the ruling politicians serve only the interests of the rich and powerful while ignoring the ordinary people. That is why we take to the streets to hold people’s assemblies, to create real democracy, where we can represent ourselves and the interests of all people.

The 15th October is a global day of action. People all over the world will take to the streets against the corporate dictatorship and political corruption. We ask you to join with us and help bring about a peaceful democratic revolutions. United we can make our voices heard.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us
Yours in Solidarity,
_
