XII Irish Latin American Film Festival 2012
Dates & Venues:
-13th-15th April - An Droichead, Cooke St, Belfast
-16th-18th April - Irish Aid Centre, O'Connell St, Dublin 1

Latin America, in short films and documentaries, will once again be accessible to audiences in Belfast, Dublin and selected screenings at other locations in April. The film festival is run in collaboration with LASC and Latin America Week. Admission is free but space is limited and attendees are requested to arrive in time for the screenings.

LATIN AMERICA WEEK Public Debate - Dublin
Venezuela: The Coup That Failed

Venue: Oak Room, Mansion House, Dawson St, Dublin 2
Date: Saturday, 14th April 2012
Time: 10:30am to 1:30pm
Speaker: Dr. Francisco DomingueZ

In conjunction with Venezuela Ireland Network.
Francisco will talk about and assess the developments in Venezuela in the years since the coup.
Followed by a Question and Answer session.
In the afternoon the Progressive Film Club will show as part of six film programme at The New Theatre, 43 East Essex St. D2 Two films with a Latin American flavour.
