City Centre Voluntary Groups has a job vacancy in the following position based in LASC (The Latin America Solidarity Centre) 5 Merrion Row, Dublin 2


Information Officer
Working knowledge of web design / updating essential
An interest in solidarity issues an advantage

Duties to include:
- Maintenance of LASC website, including being the primary contact for PayPal
- Managing email bulletin
- Monitoring incoming e-mail, ensuring that general enquiries about LASC are
responded to and distributing rest to relevant staff member
- Liaising with the media in cooperation with LASC Research Officer
- Participating in / managing some fundraising activities
- Organising and manning LASC stall at different LASC and non-LASC events
(responsibility shared with Events and Publicity Officer)
- Helping during events (responsibility shared with Events and Publicity Officer)

LASC's mission is to expose and challenge the current injustices in Latin America and in Ireland, through public awareness raising, development education, information exchanges and campaigns in solidarity with the people of Latin America who are resisting oppression and are struggling to create a fair and inclusive society.
