VisitBritain has left many bewildered with its latest woke gobbledegook, substituting terms such as "man hours" with "person hours" in an attempt to be more inclusive.

We shouldn?t be too quick to dismiss Chris Packham's rechristening of the Daily Sceptic as the Daily Septic, says politics professor Dr James Alexander. After all, we deal with ideological sewage every day.

Now Reuters runs a 'fact check' of a Daily Sceptic Arctic sea ice story. Being accused of "cherry picking" by an outfit that urges journalists to claim climate change makes mangoes taste worse is beyond ridicule.

Halloween Skillshare at the Rossport Solidarity House

category mayo | miscellaneous | event notice author Sunday October 21, 2012 13:11author by RSC - RSC Report this post to the editors

Community fun and resilience

Come up to the camp house this bank holiday weekend for lots of fun group activities (and work!)

We need to do some maintenance on the DIY turbine that powers the camp house and also want to set-up the newly built giant 4.2m turbine at another local house.

We've going to make cider again so bring up any apples lying around that you don't want - bruised, bad and half eaten ones still make good cider!

Hopefully over the weekend we're going to set a hedge around the house too under the guidance of local farmer Pat Meenaghan.

It'll be an easy going weekend and a great introduction to the camp, campaign and the area if you've never been up here before.

Plus bring up your own skills to share :)

Check out the link for general info and directions to the camp, and hope to see you there!
