Why Are Footballers Being Forced to Promote Pride? Wed Jun 25, 2025 11:09 | Will Jones
Free expression is under attack in football as an increasing number of players are punished for refusing to wear the rainbow symbol. Why are footballers being forced to promote Pride, asks Freddie Attenborough in Spiked.

Trees Get Bigger Around the World Thanks to Higher CO2 Levels Wed Jun 25, 2025 09:00 | Chris Morrison
Trees are getting bigger around the world thanks to higher CO2 levels, scientists have found. Little wonder, says Chris Morrison: they evolved to thrive in CO2 levels three times higher than they are today.

Join the dots, follow the money. Sadiq Khan is Co-Chair of C40 Cities. Mike Bloomberg is President of the Board, and also UN climate envoy. The UN partners with C40 Cities. It's all making sense, says Charlotte Gill.

Didn't hear anything about this aspect of the swine flu "plannedemic" on RTE, although I did hear plenty of fearmongering about swine flu in every news broadcast, including that prime time clip of trusted figure Charlie Bird getting his shot (of saline!) on camera to encourage the plebs to go get theirs. I believe the Irish health service stockpiled 1 billion euro worth of "Tamiflu" and vaccines under the watch of Mary Harney, big friend of big pharma.
Swine flu “false pandemic” seems to be biggest pharma-fraud of century

** Think I'd need more than 9 coronas for that!!
New bird flu threat emerges in China. This time it's H7N9
6 dead already.

Quote:
"Shares in Chinese airlines declined to their lowest in nearly four years following the news of six deaths from the H7N9 bird flu virus.
The deaths are more than a third of the 14 confirmed human infection cases in China. Most of the affected were on the eastern coast near Shanghai. Mass slaughter of poultry has been ordered in the region and all live poultry markets are closed.
Earlier in the week Shanghai issued a level 3 flu alert, the second lowest stage of four.
The number of flu victims has been low, it's believed, due to the fact the H7N9 virus cannot be transmitted from human to human. The WHO says no such cases have been registered so far."

H7N9 Update:
As of today, 13 dead, out of 51 who have contracted virus.
Chinese mainland only
No human to human transmission yet reported.
Corona virus update:
Nothing much happening in the news regarding the corona virus yet.
15 infected, 9 dead, mostly in Saudi Arabia
Some more in depth info here:

interesting, they are finding it difficult to get test animals (like ferrets or mice) infected.
It was test ferrets that saved us from the baxters bird flu pandemic before.

Guess they aren't making the same mistake this time!! ;-)
Coronavirus update:
Another fatal case pops up in France.
that makes 18 deaths in total for the coronavirus. It's spreading.
H7N9 update:
nearly 30 deaths out of 120 reported cases for H7N9. One Taiwan case, a man who visited China. Still limited to the Chinese mainland so far.
Finally these new viruses are getting noticed.
Here is a rather decent article by Ralph Nader on the topic posted this weekend.
http://www.counterpunch.org/2013/05/10/the-coming-pande...mics/
Time to boost worldwide sales, $23 billion p.a. is not enough, bankrupt governments like ours can always find money for vaccines, after all they are so safe and effective (sic).
That's for sure.
Mary Harney found almost 1 billion euro for Donald Rumsfelds "Tamiflu" during the swine flu Hype.
I reckon much of that is out of date now probably so it will have to be thrown out. What a waste of money!
