On Saturday 14th December 2013 the Stoneybatter & Smithfield People's History Project held a public talk.

On Saturday 14th December 2013 the Stoneybatter & Smithfield People's History Project held a public talk called 'Growing Up in Dublin's Inner City' in the Cobblestone Pub Smithfield .

Guests speaker were Terry Fagan of the North Inner City Folklore Project, who has done exceptional work over several decades in collecting and documenting the lives of those from Dublin's Inner City, and Mary Muldowney who is a founder member and Director of the Oral History Network of Ireland.

Marie Lord ( local resident ) also spoke from the floor.
