The overturning of Hamit Coskun's conviction for burning a Quran shows Britain doesn't have blasphemy laws. But in truth a fear of violent reprisals has created a de facto blasphemy law for decades, says Clarissa Hard.

Hamburg ? Germany's leading industrial city ? has just committed to deindustrialise completely in 15 years after a referendum on Net Zero by 2040 passed with 53.2% of the vote. This is utter insanity, says Eugyppius.

Attempt to hand over UN submission to the EPP.

category international | eu | news report author Friday March 07, 2014 21:09author by 32 County Sovereignty Movement - Thirty Two County Sovereignty Movement Report this post to the editors

An attempt today was made by the 32CSM to hand in the UN submission on the violation of Ireland's national sovereignty to the EPP which was blocked by the Free state police.

The Dublin Cumann of the 32CSM today attempted to hand over a signed addressed envelope to the chairman of the EPP commission containing the UN document to recognise Ireland’s right to National Sovereignty which was submitted by the 32 County Sovereignty Movement in 1998. This attempt was rejected by the Free state police, We find it totally hypocritical that while the leaders of the EPP are discussing the violation of Ukraine's national sovereignty they ignore the violation of Ireland's national sovereignty by the British Government in occupying our Six North-Eastern county's. The UN document which was submitted in 1998 has been brushed under the carpet for 16 years and while the prime minister of Britain talks about a violation the of Ukraine's national sovereignty he only has to look across the water to see the violation that his government are doing to our national sovereignty. The 32 County Sovereignty Movement will not give up until the right to national self determination is recognised by both the British and free state governments. The fight for independence won't stop until Ireland is united and free.

Beir Bua.

It's a European People's Party in the same way as it's People's Republic of Korea #eppdublin

Only two weeks ago Neo Nazis were throwing petrol bombs and firing live weapons at the police in Kiev and some of their leaders were present today at the EPP sitting down with big Capital yet some people show up to peacefully protest and are battered by the cops.

Doesn't get clearer than this #EPP conference in Dublin cheers 'leaders' of Ukraine revolution as police attack protesters outside. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss
