When Dicey summarised the principle of parliamentary sovereignty he wrote: "Parliament can do everything but make a woman a man and a man a woman." Alas, thanks to the European Court of Human Rights, that's no longer true.

Garda Comisioner OSullivan and FBI Murder Academy

category national | crime and justice | news report author Monday August 04, 2014 14:34author by Mick MacThomais Report this post to the editors

The Garda Commissioner accepted an award from the FBI in 2011 following extensive briefing in FBI procedures. This occurred in Quantica Virginia

Der Spiegel have recently uncovered evidence of spying from within the European Union by figures in authority whom leak confidential information to the FBI whom give it to the NSA.

The Garda Commissioner in Ireland Noreen OSullivan is a graduate of this foreign security agency which have an atrocious human rights record ,which range from the "injecting of prisoners with syphllis experiments" and possibly the most scandalous, the refusal to act and save New York from the attacks of September 2001.

The recent revelations of spying in the European Union following the Edward Snowden "conscientious objector stand" has increasingly pointed to spies within our own law enforcement institutions whom have forgotten their oath to their country and its laws to court the favor of more lucrative opportunities from spy handlers in foreign nations.

Der Spiegel recently discover evidence that Israel were spying on John Kerry ,whilst he was on US government business and that the NSA have been spying on the European Union for years .

Ireland have maintained a certain neutrality over the years not being major arms industrialists ,however the new Chief of the Garda comes with the credentials from one of the most notoriously "anti-indigenous people" policing force in the world.

The FBI have been forced in recent years to re-open the Pine Ridge massacre case which seen 50 people murdered with FBI involvement alleged.U.S Attorney Brendan Johnson takes the unusual step to re-investigate and to look at 45 deaths that tribal officials believe have not seen justice. The cases include two unsolved execution-style murders in 1998. Johnson says he agreed to re-examine all 45 cases in question despite protests from the FBI.

More recently and possibly the most scandalous relates to the discovery of advance information on terrorist attacks given to FBI agents in the New York City offices (September 2011) by a mole inside the al Qaeda cell headed by al Qaeda's primary bomber, Ramzi Yousef, and why that critical information was "deep-sixth" by high level FBI-DOJ personnel.

The reason?

It was necessary to discredit the mole Gregory Scarpa Jr. as he was scheduled to provide testimony concerning a series of murders carried out by his father--alongside a key FBI supervisor.

So is the Garda OSullivans FBI links acceptable in a neutral country? Is this a show of intent from the Dept Justice and the plans for policing Ireland in the future?

Is there not another Commissioner of Garda available with Irish credentials or will the recently appointed of Kevin OMalley to the US Consulate in Dublin lend them a few of his organized crime agents when he takes up his post on Shelbourne St later this month.

Worth noting here that O'Malley was a Special Attorney of the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section of the US Dept of Justice around about the same time the Pine Ridge massacre was unfolding.

Coupled with the split in the Garda Siochana recently with the rank and file going "cap in hand" to the European court of Human Rights and other foreign agencies for relief from their intolerable working conditions ,it is doing nothing to give the Irish public anything other than cause for concern.

After all the when the British disembarked at Belfast in the summer of 1969 ,the carried shields threatening people with death ,written in the Arabic language they were not welcome. Now we have a Garda Commissioner carrying a shield with an equally despotic language of a foreign people ,though familiar ,with the same intent it seems .
