It isn't so much that the Tories are getting more popular as that Labour is getting less so. Which illustrates a more general predicament for the Tories and any other party that might have aspirations to government.

G4S was targeted by this action as it is one of the many companies collaborating with and enforcing the European border system. In the UK, it manages two immigration detention centres, Tinsley House and Brook House, both located within the grounds of Gatwick airport, and a new detention centre for families near Crawley, called Cedars. It used to forcibly deport migrants on behalf of the Home Office, before missing this multimillion-pound contract in 2010.

Fortress Europe border guards are stationed in the East and the South, with a military budget of hundred million euros. Police hunts down and seizes people without legal documents and enforces state terror. Refugees are imprisoned in detention centres for a never-ending period, while they are waiting for removal through forced deportation or, in some cases, murder. In the face of ever greater obstacles to reaching Europe by land, migrants are increasingly taking the more dangerous sea routes to Greece and Italy. Every year hundreds of people die trying to reach Europe’s shores.

Many large and small companies make profits by participating to the war against migrants that Fortress Europe declared years ago. In the last years these companies, including G4S, are constantly attacked by activists throughout Europe. Today one of them paid hard for its involvement, and they will keep paying their bill as long as they will profit from detention and deportation.

No nation, no border, fight law and order!

There are many other reasons for blaming G4S, as the very core of its business is to enforce repression and social militarization: it provides security services to the Israeli apartheid (G4S was already targeted many times by activists struggling against Israeli occupation), it manages jails, it contributes to transform our cities into open-air prisons filled with private guards and surveillance devices.

We can fight back the power on the same ground that it believes to be of its exclusivity and that it uses for messing up our lives on a daily basis: the control on the flows of information.

Here an interesting text about this method of struggle and about how to create fakes:

He is right. People should be careful when using these tactics, legal consequences can be serious if they has not taken the necessary precautions. On the other hand, there are many tricks (informatics or not) that can help people being anonymous, like using false names, accessing internet in public places without cameras, using Internet privacy tools (Tor, Mac changer, Tails).

The use of this tactic requires great care not to be caught.

The problem is that it is extremely difficult to prove a negative. In this case, to avoid criminal stock manipulation charges, to prove that NOBODY who had knowledge took advantage of the price changes. This is one of those situations were "intention" isn't a requirement for criminal liability. It wouldn't matter that those directly involved had no intent to use the price move for gain or that no intent that anybody else learn about the coming price move so that they could take advantage or pass the information along to yet another party that did.

The worst part is that in a resulting "stock manipulation" trial wouldn't likely be allowed to introduce evidence about why you did it. The "what you did" to cause a stock to move up or down doesn't have to be illegal. In other words, suppose the company were about to announce a wonderful new product, perfectly legal for them to develop a new product and to release information about it. But a criminal "stock manipulation" case could still result.
