First volunteer work day of Mountain Meitheal will be on Sunday 22nd of February to restore a section of trail at the 'miners village, nearby to Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. Meet up at Glendalough Visitor Centre at 10:30 am sharp.
All volunteers must be eighteen years of age or older, no special skills are required and nobody is expected to work beyond their capabilities. Volunteers should come prepared for a day in the hills with appropriate footwear and a pack lunch including a hot drink.
Please note: Volunteers may come out to give it a try but must join up after three work days for insurance purposes.
We meet at the visitor centre at 10.30 am sharp where we pool cars and drive to the site.
