DLR Cycling is to have its first meeting in October.

A Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown area branch of the Dublin Cycling Campaign is to be trialed under the name DLR Cycling.

We have decided to develop a DLR Cycling Advocacy Group to help form a better level of engagement between the cycling community and the councillors and officials of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

This group will meet each month with a focus on holding workshops that are engaging and hands on to shape the future of cycling in DLR. The first meeting will be held in the DLR LexIcon library at 18:30 on Wednesday 10th of October and is likely to be attended by local citizens and councillors from DLR.

Our first session hopes to gather the list of great things and bad things that the existing cycling community experience in DLR. This will set out the priorities for the coming months of engagement.

You can follow and get in touch on twitter @dlrcycling and send a DM if you plan to attend the meeting. You can also email info@dublincycling.com with reference to the DLR Cycling AG.

Where: DLR LexIcon library
When: 6:30pm Weds 10th Oct
