First-come, First-served

Andy Irvine, Mick Hanley, Donal Lunny, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and other special guests will headline this memorable event.

The Friends of the International Brigades in Ireland (FIBI) is organising an anti-fascist gala concert in Dublin on Friday, November 23, to coincide with the 80th Anniversary of the return of the Connolly Column.

Some very well-known artists have agreed to play on what will be a very special and fitting occasion – a celebration of the continuing spirit of defiance.

This memorable event will feature Andy Irvine, Mick Hanley, Donal Lunny, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and Edinburgh-based Gallo Rojo. Other special guests have also committed.

Tickets are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. FIBI anticipates this event will be sold out well ahead of time.

To book, please email your the number of tickets you are looking for to fibiconcert2018@gmail.com as soon as possible.

All proceeds will go towards helping to support the ongoing voluntary efforts of FIBI in honouring those people from all parts of Ireland who fought against fascism in Spain.

 FIBI is a completely voluntary organisation dedicated to honouring the sacrifices and bravery of the men and women who travelled to Spain to fight fascism. For the past 25 years, FIBI has been working with local communities, historical groups and local activists to erect monuments and organise commemorative events throughout Ireland, Spain and Catalunya. We work closely with the Asociación de Amigos de las Brigadas Internacionales in Madrid to coordinate annual commemorative events in Madrid, Jarama, Belchite, Cordoba and at the Ebro.
