World BEYOND War's 4th annual global conference

World BEYOND War’s fourth annual global conference & peace camp will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 5th and 6th, in Limerick, Ireland, and include a rally on the 6th at Shannon Airport to protest the U.S. military's use of the airport.

You’re invited to celebrate the 150th birthday of Gandhi with us this October 5-6 at #NoWar2019, World BEYOND War’s annual conference & peace camp in Limerick, Ireland!

Join anti-war activists & peace educators from around the world for a series of panel discussions, film screenings, and hands-on workshops. Keynote speakers include:
Mairead Maguire, Nobel Peace Laureate; Clare Daly, Teachta Dála for Dublin Fingal; Kathy Kelly, Activist & author; Ed Horgan, Founder of Veterans For Peace Ireland; Laura Hassler, Founder & Director of Musicians Without Borders; and more.

Network with leading experts & peace advocates about the steps needed to demilitarise security, manage conflict nonviolently, and cultivate a culture of peace. Explore the strategies & tactics of creative activism, nonviolent civil resistance, youth activism, divestment, base closure, and more. And then rally with us at Shannon Airport on October 6 to oppose the U.S. military’s use of the airport!
