Irish Anti War Movement (Dun Laoghaire) Public Meeting

The Dun Laoghaire branch of the Irish Anti War Movement is holding a public meeting on Tuesday September 16th at 8pm in the Kingston Hotel on the subject of "END THE OCCUPATION OF IRAQ & PALESTINE".

Speakers will include: an Eyewitness Report from Iraq by Dr Nooh Al Kaddo (Islamic Cultural Institute in Ireland). Dr Nooh is an Iraqi and has been in Iraq three times since the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime to witness the deepening crisis and human catastrophe engulfing the country under the US military occupation.

The meeting will also be addressed by Ali Halimeh (Palestinian Delegate General in Ireland). Ali is the chief representative of the Palestinian National Authority in Ireland and will talk about the growing crisis in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.

The meeting will also be addressed by Harry Browne (Irish Times Columnist & US Citizen) & Richard Boyd Barrett (Chair, Irish Anti War Movement).

The meeting will outline the details of the September 27th International Day of Action protest here in Dublin where thousands are expected to take to the streets to protest against the occupations of Iraq and Palestine.

We encourage all supporters of the anti war movement to attend this meeting.

I think the Daily Mail stopped short of publishing the names of the mosques it alledged were actively recruiting for Al Qaeda in Bradford, I presume matey that's where you referring to.
I also seem to remember the Islamic Parliament which represents the greater political and social representation of the Muslims of Northern England made extensive statements on the problems facing their communities from recruitment attempts for other groupings.
¿are we going to discuss other groupings, or do you just refer to "osama and his like"?

There's more than Finsbury Park involved mate, there's plenty of these places in the North of England too.

I think the ignorance and prejudice of the people writing here is disgusting too. They're sickening Anti-Americanism, anti- corporatism and anti-Isreali prejudice is horrifying to behold.

You people make me want to puke.

Of the thousands of Islamic centres in the UK only one, the Finsbury Park North London Mosque has been linked to the activities of Al Qaeda, Taliban and Afghanistan.
Only one.
not "many".
I wrote on it at the link.
{[(if this seanín comment is deleted- delete mine as well)]}

The ignorance and prejudice is disgusting.
You might as well say, "all irish pubs in the world fueled the IRA" or "every protestant sunday school fueled the UDA".

Dr Nooh from the Islamic Cultural Centre. People should be aware that many of these centres of "Islamic Culture" in the UK were found to be hotbeds of Al Qaeda activity and where some of the 9/11 bobmbers were recruited from.

I'm not saying Dr Nooh is any sort of Al Qaeda symapthiser but I think people should fully evaluate any motives he has before hearing him speak.
