The WHO Pandemic Treaty isn't just a tool of globalist overreach, says Dr David Bell: with its myopic focus on rare, low-mortality outbreaks, it's also really bad public health.

The Germans are Great

category limerick | anti-war / imperialism | opinion/analysis author Wednesday January 28, 2004 20:34author by Limerick Lady Report this post to the editors

and Bertie is a liar

I met a german guy recently and told him that the excuse that our leader gave for allowing the Americans Bombers through Shannon was that countries all over the world were doing same thing even those who were opposed to the war.

I gave the example of Germany a country that was against the War but was allowing the American bombers through the bases at Ramstein etc. After I finished saying this the German guy laughed as if he had not heard something so stupid for a long time. He said "thats bullshit, Germany doesn't own the land those airports are on. Thats US soil. That hasn't been German land since before the Second World War." He continued, "If I went over the fence there I would be shot by an American GI." I asked him if there were any protests at the bases. He said there had been but no one got over the fence as the Americans would certainly have shot them. He added that Germany who was against the war used their own Poilice to stand in front of the perimiter fences to prevent any interference. So the protestors were seperated from the GI's by the perimiter fence and the Police force of a country that was against the war.

You live and learn! Guten Abend.

QUOTE: "If a GI [actually a MP would be more appopiate] shot a German civillian ,or anyone for that matter.it would be Hell to pay."

Hell to pay my arse ....

In Italy they kill civilians in ski resorts while out joyriding in their airyplanes ..... and have no problem to secure an acquittal ......

http://www.cnn.com/US/9903/04/marines.cablecar.03/

In Japan they rape the women and get away with saying "sorry" .....
http://www.japantoday.com/gidx/news40314.html

And you mean to tell us that there would be hell to pay for shooting a few Kraut civilians ?

Surely they would count as "fair game" ?

Or perhaps "collateral damage" would be the more appropriate term .....

update himself a wee bit. The Americans have been pulling out of their bases in Germany over the last ten years. Most of them are now back under German control.
If a GI [actually a MP would be more appopiate] shot a German civillian ,or anyone for that matter.it would be Hell to pay.Unless it is a deliberate armed attack that has gone over the fence. The Mps are authorised to shoot in protection of property or life.otherwise it is an arrestable matter.Whereupon the arrested person MUST be handed over to the German police. within 2 hours of arrest or as soon as practible.

Not that most Germans could care what goes on USAF bases anyway. Apart from misc headbangers of the Left and Right terror groups.Like Red Army Faction[left] or Wehrsport Gruppe Hoffman[defense sport group Hoffman].
As for Jewish pogroms,we arent not too guiltless either. We had a pogrom in Limerick of the Jewish community in 1900.Organised by the Catholic church BTW.

dear so called Anti Nazi. why this racist crap? do you also hate Poles? or French people, or the Spanish, or Russians? the word pogrom is Russian. the Spanish destroyed their jewish community in the 15 century, the Poles massacred Jews just after WW2 was over or nearing end, the French and Italian and Dutch atively dported Jews, or rather scumbag elements in all those countries. Unlike Japan germany has unambigiously denounced its horrific crimes 60 years ago, also unlike Britain and its accursed empire, contemporary Germany is I would think the most socailly progression country in the world outside Scandanavia, it's multicultural the kids are thought about violence and laws are in place to protect people and the envirnoment and not just property and these laws are taken serious and there's none of this mickey mouse polite irishy crap that gave us the magdelan sisters, so please stop being a racist and be a human being instead, a human being is anti-nazi and must not define itself so, auf wierdersehen

Same thing in Belgium. The port of Antwerp is the main 'hub' for military transports between Irak en Germany. Curerntly the US first infantry division is passing through Belgium.

Also, the small airport of Oostende (Bruges for the people travelling with Ryanair ;) is used by the US Air Force to refuel.

The Belgium government has been able to ignore these facts because of their anti-war 'retoric' but in reality they did everything the US asked.

i´m from germany, so maybe i can clear things up. the ground the us-bases are on are us-property, but the german government did not refuse to give the americans the right to fly over the german territory (which they could have done if they were really against the war). but the americans didn´t only use us-bases, but also the harbors and civil airports. german and french companies had contracts with saddam, which are gone now, and thats the reason spd/greens coalition was against the war. other parts of the ruling class were had a more pro-us point (like the cdu), and hoped to profit from the war.
it was the anti-war movement that forced schröder to use anti-american rhetorics, but the reason for "quarrelings" between USA vs. France, Germany, Russia etc. are because of different geostrategical interests of the imperialist countrys.
ok, so far. i hope this helps you a bit.
revolt on!

Altbthough last time I was passing through Frankfurt airport an american soldier perhaps officer in full uniform walked by me in the foyer I was going to ask her what she was doing there but thought better of it the German man may be right about Ramstein but he neglects to mention germany's massive weapon's exports to places like Turkey and Israel (U boots) and of course conscription which is a pretty facistic way of subjugating young men, so the SPD Grün coalition may be more PC than the CDU CSU types but they still bombed Belgrade and sent KSK (SAS) to Afghanistan and ABC Panzers to Kuwait
