That's right Morons, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

You should shut up about coke and just stop buying it . Stop giving them advertisment and keeping them in the minds of people you morons.

This vulgar ugly "art" is stupid and meaningless. It is negative and dark. Give it up and shut up telling everyone else what to buy .....you fascists.

Dry up and blow away.....who do you think will clean up after your lovely "art"?

Pull the bee out of yer hole and have a sit down and a few deep breaths!

Straight to the point ad-defacing. I like that. Where is this?

That there is absolutely no foundation for these rumours about Coca-Cola. You all fell for another Urban Myth, ha!! ha!!
Like the stories about alligators in the sewers, it's all just conspiracy and rumour.

In the recent libel case taken by Coke against the Colombian union Sinaltrainal, the judge disagreed. There is apparently enough evidence against coke for the libel motion to be thrown out.

I hardly think it is free advertising for Coke.

On the contrary we were turning their existing billboard on its head by pointing out the fact that Coca-Cola are involved in murders.
If that makes more, rather than less people want to drink it then we're in a worse situation than I thought...

The idea is to subvert the intrusive one way communication of billboards and raise public awareness of what Coke are up to.

Here are two quotes from the new No. 2's message:
"You should shut up about coke and just stop buying it "
"shut up telling everyone else what to buy .....you fascists"
Anyone spot a contradiction here?

It may be negative and dark art, but murdering people in Colombia or anywhere else sounds pretty negative and dark to me, contrary to the image of itself Coke tries to pass off.

Our "art" was cleaned up by the advertising company in Galway which replaced it (a week or two later) with another piece of ugly vapid consumerist "art".

Bill Hicks said "Sure you can have free speech, if you can afford it!"

A good rule of thumb would be that if coke start financing you to deface their billboards, then it's time to stop! I don't think that's a bridge that you're going to have to cross though.

Keep up the good work Galwegians.

Just 'cos collina's jewish, you lot think you can inscribe 666 on his head.

Disgusting, no wonder most anti-semtics in europe are associatated with the left

Nothing "anti-semitic" about it, you're putting two and two together and coming up with twenty-two. I'm sure the adbusters were unaware of, or totally disinterested in, the ethnic background of the model in the ad. It is coke, not some anonymous actor, which was the target.

lads, Id love to know who did this, well done, dont listen to those other righteous fuckers on this board, we are all fighting the good fight, right??
Well done again, and thanks, on behalf of all of us you represent.

Not an actor. Not anonymous. The most famous referee in the world and probably in the top 5 most recognisable jews in the world.

The adbust demonstrates one thing. Ignorance.
