The Hungarians read the most newspapers in the EU. They being the Central Europeans like to know what's going on north, south, west and east of them.
Their Yankee (former world's biggest economic, political, military super block) equivalent would be the Arkansan, Kansan or gotham City resident. Who are famously illiterate, and have run out of deep water aquifiers and are facing a famine scale drought in the next nine years, and now must rely on unproven GM technology to put bread on the Yankee and Dixie table. This is really isn't as serious as it sounds, because bread is no longer the staple of the American Diet, for over forty years, the average American has eaten 600 burgers a year instead. The Average American has more than 17kg of undigested reconstructed animal protein and gloutinous material in their gut at any one moment.
The mean difference between an Average American and an Average Hungarians weight is more than 40kg!
This means an emergency helicopter embassy lift would be able to take one family more of Hungarians than Americans. Except the Hungarians famous for their 1958 Telsa Woodpecker Embassy scam signal have never had to withdraw from an embassy in an emergency. Now that the Hungarians are complete members of the EU they might be able to explain to us what all those Telsa signals were about.
Let's ask them:-
Q: in the late 50s and peaking in the mid 70s members of the former Warsaw Pact transmitted a very low frequency signal from all their embassies and put the fear of the blessed Apocalypse up the yank. The Yank responded by building a trans continental north american network of transmitters which issued the "Buzz Saw" signal using Telsa's theories. This put the fear of the blessed Apocalypse up the anti-Federalist good old american Patriots, who have been busy making Brain Control Defense Tin Foil Hats since.
"Hank, the feds are sending me instruction from the woodpecker in Alaska direct to my brain"
"stephanie says it's so cold in Alaska".
SEE!?
Not only are we today more civilised,
richer, more efficient, have more water,
non-contaminated arable land than the Yank,
but we have more COMMON SENSE.
Never underestimate the value of Common Sense, it's just as good as Wisdom, for those decades ahead in the far future when you don't have Iosaf/O as if/Sofia /the ipsiphi or the Tuath de Danaan or GBS around to help you.
= Thank You Soviet Era Hungary for putting the wind up them with an Edwardian Era (XIX century) schoolboy game. Incredibly Cheap, effective and probably kept us all safe from thermonukeLear war.
Sheesh, if no-one kindly starts a riot, what will the papers cover for tomorrow? The poor buggers will have to publish pictures of peaceful protests, banners that show the issues and maybe some of those pics of the no borders stuff they're taking above. It'll cause a crisis, I tell ya!
D.
PS. Check out news.amnesty on Monday for loads of media-related stuff.
then the press will just just say...
"Massive Security Operation Prevents Riot"
"Policing Policy Vindicated!"
...bet you a pint!
