Shame and scandal

category antrim | miscellaneous | opinion/analysis author Monday November 22, 2004 11:06author by NO GODS, NO MASTERS Report this post to the editors

Jon Ronson's programme on the crazy but evil rulers of the world shed an interesting light on military intelligence manuovers since American propaganda losses during the vietnam war. After the loss of the propaganda war in Vietnam and the world. The CIA set up the pysch ops division/1st earth batttalion which infiltrated and researched the then late 60's/70's new age hippy peace movement.

With a view to researching its popularity and tactics with the ultimate goal of finding ways to subvert it, to promote counter revolutionary/counter insurgency values. This was essential to counter act social change movements hostile to capitalism and the war industry.

They discovered the that introduction and combination of mind scrambling LSD/cannabis, disorientating mind numbing cock rock and the promotion of arty farty, wishy washy hippy dippy snooty middle class values could effectively negate most social change movements, whilst simultaneously reinforcing psychedelic capitalist peace values. Its decadence would embrace middle class teen angst yet be of absolutely no threat to the status quo.

Black communities working class consiousness and cohesion could be effectively replaced and counter acted by the introduction of conservative pro capitalist right wing muslim/christian separatist politics and hard drugs such as crack cocaine and smack.

So that was that problem solved, and indeed today the only politic choices promoted to the third world poor of africa/asia is to choose between rampant dog eat dog capitalist christian values or rampant conservative right wing muslim values.

Extremist muslim fundamentalist groups still promote dog eat dog capitalism, and middle class social hierarchial values, as a social change movement it does not exist to elevate slaves/the poor or peasants, its only goal is to make everyone slaves to a thick male orientated religion, where again selfish rich men are all at the top of the heap, it is no coincidence that its leader unclesama bin liner is the son of a wealthy oil baron family.

Today in our own working class communities there is a over abundance of availability of affordable tit chew/tai-chai classes, where again an essentially anti capitalist martial art system has been subverted to promote snooty pro capitalist middle class values hence the constant promotion and mention of the pro capitalist icon the Dalai lama within these classes.

Who is the Dalai lama?, he's an old bloke at the top of a religious hierarchial structure, of similar status, property and wealth as the Pope/Her majesty and he is about as spiritually/morally superior as the Pope/Her majesty.

At a recent Shame academy gig, 'punk' revival gig there was constant referral and promotion of the Dalai lama. Which would have been laughable and as ridiculous in the olden punk days, as punk groups promoting and saluting the Queen or the Pope for that matter.

It just goes to show the extent to which the authorities have infiltrated, and undermined a section of a once vibrant working class movement.

I do martial arts classes myslef, but the martial art classes I do although originating in Japan, Korea and Thailand, do not promote allegiance, salute or idolise Her majesty the Queen, the Pope or allah.

agree fully, apart from that all Tai-Chi classes aren't as shite as that, mine has no kind of idolatry, or anything like it? depends on teacher. Definitely loads of that Zen stuff is aimed at keeping the brainless peaced-up and impotent. Have you heard of "power meditation"?? where bizness heads can meditate between board meetings, also "business retreats" where eastern impersonators help execs become more efficient bastards. But doing something like Tai-Chi or whatever is good at rejuvinating you, as well as getting you fit+able for action.

The author of the Shame and Scandal article had his/her head up his/her arse at a recent Shame Academy gig where the band were supposedly referring to the Dalai Lama. What planet was this gig on? Certainly not this one as I've been at all of the gigs, well I have to be I'm in the band. Get it together whoever you are and get your damn priorities right. To lump the Dalai Lama in with figureheads like the pope and the queen is laughable at best, at worst downright ignorant. Also if you knew anything about martial arts you'd know that all of us who do them have bought into a tradition which has been driven by exclusivity. In any line of martial arts the linage is male. Hierarchy has much more to it than church and state. In short, get your head out of your arse and talk some sense for fuck sake. By the way, I don't frequent this site because I'm sick of people like you so if you want to respond do so directly... petesyb@yahoo.com
