...can you walk the walk?" Let's face it, global warming is happening. Melting polar ice caps are weakening the North Atlantic Drift that provides Ireland with the warmth that literally plays hard to get. The sea is slowly eroding the Irish coast. Yes we know Ireland is quite 'brrrrr' at this time of the year, but it also chills me to know that my future kids will probably have to wear eskimo gear just to avoid catching a cold. Dr. John Sweeney of the NUI calculates that our situation will deteoriate significantly in the next 40 years according to current CO2 levels. By the end of the century, Ireland could hit a new ice age, so make sure to buy your grand kids skis for Christmas. |

Yes, maybe a little, but not that much really.
>Melting polar ice caps are weakening the North Atlantic Drift that provides Ireland with the warmth that literally plays hard to get.
Some parts of the polar ice caps are melting while others are growing (but the climate 'experts' never tell you about the growing part )
>The sea is slowly eroding the Irish coast.
ahh...but hasn't the sea being doing that to all coasts since it came into existence?
>Dr. John Sweeney of the NUI calculates that our situation will deteoriate significantly in the next 40 years according to current CO2 levels.
No he didn't 'calculate' this. This is his 'guess'. Now if his guess was less sensational he would not get as much attention. hmmm....I wonder if that infulanced his 'calculations'?
