Everyone is welcome to join us for the Dublin City Greenway Cycle, we leave from mayor square in the IFSC (international financial services centre), docklands, Dublin 1at 12.00,

This time we will cycle clockwise, soutside first, and stop in the phoenix park for a picnic, as we usually do.

this month we will have an extended picnic and those that want to join up with the
Mayday Weekend Anarchist Picnic and Anti-Authoritarian-Assembly (http://www.indymedia.ie/article/75596 ), can do so.

we will also be visiting the holy well in the phoenix park, which the park is named after - pairc an fhionn uisce - park of the clear water

all on all, depending on length of picnic and gathering, event should take about 5 to 6 hours

according to the heritage council greenways are "shared-use routes for non-motorised users, (walkers, cyclists, roller skaters, horse riders) for pleasure, recreation, tourism and daily journeys." http://www.heritagecouncil.ie/walkways/project7.html

thanks to more fine work from imc-ie we can now post PDF´s, so here is the Botanic Spine in detail. If you are interested in finding out more about it, the thesis can be found in the library of Bolton Street DIT.

currently there is a discussion on EASA, about what I was partly looking at in the thesis: exploring the guts of the city and trying to come up for solutions for whatever problems are found.
