High Court Threat of Jailings Postponed until Thursday, June 22nd;

Community Resistance to River Deel Water Stronger than Ever

Today in the High Court, Committal Proceedings against young mother of two, Orla Kaiser, were postponed for a week.

Orla Kaiser’s youngest child was ill today, preventing her from travelling to Dublin.

Orla Kaiser, however, wishes to state that her protest along with the communities of Pallaskenry / Kildimo continue and that she will inform the Court of that next week.

The Campaign is now stronger than ever. The community will simply not be cowed by Limerick County Council into accepting water from a polluted source, the River Deel, when they currently enjoy clean, natural spring water from Bleach Lough.
