Free Speech on Campus in Britain and America Sat Jun 25, 2022 14:00 | Noah Carl
Surveys in Britain show that students have become less supportive of free speech since 2016. But surveys in America show no trend over the same time period. Why the difference between the two countries?

It's hard to reconcile the vaccines being 90% effective against death with the numerous highly vaccinated countries which have experienced large waves of excess deaths since mid-2021.

Who Really Exercises Power in Contemporary Britain? Sat Jun 25, 2022 09:00 | Toby Young
Who comprises the current Establishment? According to Douglas Murray, it's the public sector elite ? the people running universities, museums, regulators, the BBC and all the major charities. And they're all woke liberals.

A study in NEJM makes the false claim that infants are at "high risk" from COVID-19 to justify vaccinating pregnant women. This blatant falsehood in a leading journal undermines trust in science and medicine.

Ever spend any time wandering Caracas people? I have.
I'd suggest Senor Chavez would do well to actually concentrate on the homefront...

Congressman Charles Rangel who for 35 years has represented Harlem in the U.S. house of representatives said of Chavez:
I want to express my extreme displeasure with statements by the President of Venezuela attacking U.S. President George Bush in such a personal and disparaging way during his remarks at the United Nations General Assembly.
It should be clear to all heads of government that criticism of Bush Administration policies, either domestic or foreign, does not entitle them to attack the President personally.
George Bush is the president of the United States and represents the entire country. Any demeaning or public attacks against him are viewed by Republicans, Democrats, and all Americans as an attack on all of us.
I feel that I must speak out now since the Venezuelan government has been instrumental in providing oil at discounted prices to people in low income communities who have suffered increases in rent as heating oil prices have risen sharply. By offering this benefit to people in need, Venezuela has won many friends in poor communities of New York and other states. I am surprised that American oil companies have not stepped up to provide that kind of assistance to the poor.
