Shell to Sea picket in Belfast

Over a dozen Shell to Sea activists held a picket outside the Shell station on the Andersonstown Road, in solidarity with the people who are out day and daily in Bellanaboy despite continued Garda harassment.

The group continues to raise awareness on the current situation in Mayo, and as usual were greeted with the honks of many passers by. The group in Belfast is building towards the National Day of Support in Belmullet on Friday 16th February with a number of upcoming events...

Thursday, 1st February : On the day that Shell announces its annual profits, Belfast Shell to Sea will be organising a vigil to remember the victims of Shell's activities as part of an international day of action. The vigil will take place outside Belfast City Hall at 5pm.

Friday, 9th February: A fundraiser for the Shell to Sea group in Belfast will take place in Kelly's Cellar. A night of good music and good craic.
