New Sinn Fein police march protestors.

category antrim | miscellaneous | opinion/analysis author Sunday July 01, 2007 15:46author by Ernesto Lynch Report this post to the editors

New Sinn Fein police march protestors.

New Sinn Fein police march protestors.

The Protest today by residents of the Springfield Road against Loyalist Sectarian Coat-Trailers marching triumphantly through the predominently nationalist / republican Springfield Road was today policed by the agents of New Sinn Fein.
Those prominent members of this once respected political party policed the entire march as they manhandled protestors from the picket. Among those manhandled were members of the RSYM. When they objected, and declared who they were and that they had a right to protest at this coat-trailing exercise, they were confronted with threats and a barrage of abuse.

The PSNI remained in their jeeps the whole time.

This attitude only serves the pruposes of the British, and further highlights the elitist attitudes of those who now serve the British Crown.
All right thinking republicans and socialists need to condemn these actions unequivocally and without reservation, although we recognise that this is only the latest in attacks against the RSM from the very same agents of the Crown.

This is not surprising, The $hinners are tripping over themselves to be accepted by Paisley and the DUP, who continue to pour derision on every pathetic attempt by the former Republicans to show that they are now worthy and 'law abiding' citizens of N.Ireland and fit to sit in his Puppet Government.
Hopefully those who continually vote for them in the mistaken belief that they are getting one over on Paisley will see through the charade that keeps the $hinners going and getting wealthier and closer to those who many died to remove from controlling the wealth and power in our country.
The ordinary people should not tolerate these people and stand up to them, if they stand with those who are hemming our people in while bigots march then they have chosen to stand against us, enough said...

I was present at the Springfield rd interface one night about 5 or 6 years ago . There was a line of RUC jeeps and ranks of RUC facing the nationalist residents . One young lad threw a bottle at the RUC and was savagely kicked punched and beaten by a gang of provos who were there to maintain order . This happened in full view of the RUC who also monitored the entire incident on video tape . After the beating had finished ( the young lad was kicked all over the square) the provos regrouped and stood alongside the RUC lines . Sean Spike Murray was prominent among the guardians of law and order that night . He didnt get his hands dirty beating the life out of the young fellow , his minions carried out that task , and remained talking to the RUC the entire time .

Why didn't the protesters send them packing? They can't hide behind threats from the now defunct IRA anymore. Its time the community stood up to these bully boys.

Come on, you don't mean you didn't see this coming? $inn Fein had already sold out on this in ST Andrews.
