Friday July 13, 2007 14:13 by Elinor - Cork shell to sea
This morning cork shell to sea members staged a promenade and vigil along the Quays and on the two main bridges in the city centre. The theme was grim, protesters wore black gowns, carried "deathly" Erris water bottles and regailed passers by with depressing stories of recent events in Erris. During this mornings rush hour cork shell to sea members who were unable to travel to Erris to offer solidarity at this mornings picket staged a vigil and grim promenade on the two main bridges in the city centre in Cork. |

i have to laugh at shellshocked.if everybody was like you i d hate to think what the world would be like!
i always think 2 types of people work for companies like shell.Thickos and people who dont care and do anything for money.
at least peoples in cork still care!
Thank You Cork Shell To Sea.
well done Cork S2S. You're a long way from the action but you know injustice when you see it.
Thank You.
we're in England for a couple months but would like to support S2S in their campaign against the rape of Erris. how can we send message of solidarity to the Porturlin Three?
As the Porturlin 3 are currently out on bail you can contact them care of Pat O Donnell, Porturlin, Ballina, Co. Mayo.
Future contact details will be posted on www.shelltosea.com
I am sure that shell shocked will be reassured to learn that everyone on fridays action in Cork works at socially usefull and rewarding jobs aswell as all the unpaid hours they put in to create a better world for all of us.
