Justin Trudeau wants to prorogue Parliament to buy time before the election. Voters will punish him for it, says Prof James Allan, but it's a mistake he must be allowed to make without activist judges getting in the way.

Jordan Peterson should make his mind up about Christianity, critics say. Prof James Alexander disagrees: he's a profound Jungian explorer who wants to help a secularised world see why Christianity still matters.

Quebec Police defend Rock-Wielding Undercover Officer

category international | anti-capitalism | other press author Sunday August 26, 2007 21:50author by Terence Report this post to the editors

More evidence that Police want and instigate violence

In this very interesting report from Montreal Canada, we get a glimpse at some of the undercover activities of the state and police forces which are there to protect capitalism. What is reported is that an undercover cop was caught on video throwing rocks at a protest. Clearly the state and police are working hard all the time to manipulate public opinion to believe that protesters always mean violence and are associated with criminals. When they don't get the result that they want, they then go out and make it so. This is not unique to just the place where this report comes from.

Here's some of the more interesting parts of the report.

Quebec’s police force found itself caught between a rock and some hard questions Friday, as it defended an undercover officer’s prop at the Montebello summit earlier this week.
......
The protesters were gathered to voice their opposition to the meeting of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, U.S. President George Bush and Mexican President Felipe Calderon Aug. 20 and Aug. 21 as they met in Montebello, Que.

At no time did the officer with the rock threaten anyone with it or use it to incite violence by the actual protesters, Savard said.

“He only had the rock because he was trying to blend in with (a crowd of) extremists he had been with earlier.”

Savard said a video of the incident that was posted on the YouTube website was taken out of context. But the video, one version of which lasts for nine minutes, does not show any ‘extremists’ or any else dressed like the undercover officers, who wore dark clothing and bandanas to cover their faces.

The video can be seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St1-WTc1kow

Well done to the demonstrators for spotting these undercover cops and not allowing them to start a riot to justify their fellow riot police attacking the demonstration. The commander who ordered this violent action should be up on charges. To order such an action was to plan serious violence and resualtant injury. A lot of those who would have been injured were quite elderly. At one point the cop with the rock pushed the man exposing him as a cop which is assault, and they should charge him.

How many times these thugs have gotten away with this plan across the world. It is nice to see it all caught on tape and an admission from the police the provocateurs were indeed police.
