Labour loves to remind voters how Liz Truss 'crashed the economy', but Rachel Reeves is making the exact same mistake. She's asking the markets to lend the Government vast sums and they're telling her where to get off.

Galway's Food Not Bombs strikes again!

category galway | anti-capitalism | news report author Sunday September 02, 2007 22:26author by Rimas - Food Not Bombs collective -- Galway Report this post to the editors

Proved again: there is such thing as free lunch.

Doughnut and carrot shaped vibrations spread in the streets of Galway.

The skies cleared up as Galway's Food Not Bombs collective put up their stall in the Shop st. today. Good vibrations spread in forms of doughnuts, scones, deliciouestestest mustard in the world, mostly organic vegan stir-fry and reached the hearts of folks from all over the world through their stomaches.
Happy and friendly cooks from Ireland, Lithuania, USA, aided by 1,5 veteran Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign activists, let only their actions (except for a sign in front - 'EVERYTHING HERE IS FREE!') speak the message of the coming of the better, warmer (NOT as in global warming), colorful and childish world, where everything is possible if you try.
Temporary Autonomous Kitchen (TAK) ran out of food supplies only after 2 intensive hours, then the remaining bagfull of bread and scones was traditionally delivered to the Cope homeless center, place swept up, stuff packed up and we headed home, creating revolutionary plans for the next weekend and impatiently looking forward to see you all then.

Thanks for coming and see you!
Eat today, revolution tomorrow!
