PUBLIC MEETING ABOUT TARA

Sunday March 30th, 6PM

Cryans Bar, Main Street,

Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim

43 historical and archaeological sites have already been destroyed by
the construction of the illegal M3 motorway.

The spiritual heart of Ireland, the core of early Irish history,
mythology and sovereignty is disappearing forever under a motorway's
concrete. Your heritage is being destroyed.

Our ancestors are being dug up.

Things are now at a critical stage.

Come to the meeting to learn more.

Lend your support to the Direct Action Campaign.

Camps on the Hill of Tara and at Rath Lugh need help urgently.

The M3 roadway passing throughTara/Skryne is going ahead, at all costs regardless of any protestors agnst or meetings.

The European Court at best will only fine our Irish government a hefty wack - this will not stop the road, not when european investors are going to profit from building it.

I daresay that "the fine price" has already been written in to the cost of the road. Make no mistake about that the plans were vetted from the onset and every point point taken into consideration.

Even the date of the sitting in the European Court is probably being held back to accomodate the building of the road - it is a white wash job people!

The meetings and protests are a waste of time and energy, the clever ones will have already have reached that conclusion.

Objectors to the road ought to have been on the ball at the planning stage when the people in the immediate vicinity were asked for their appraisal.

As usual it is too little too late!
