Monthly vigil at Shannon to oppose airport's involvement in torture

The monthly vigil at Shannon Airport to highlight its role in international networks of torture will be held on Sunday June 8th from 5pm to 6pm.

Members and supporters of Amnesty International, Cosantoiri Siochana and other organisations will continue their monthly vigil at Shannon Airport on June 8th. Please support - and ask any other organisations or groups with which you are involved to support the vigil in peaceful opposition to the involvement of the airport in torture.

When: Sunday, 8 June 2008 at 5pm
Where: At the small roundabout at the entrance to the airport, just before the security hut.

This is a regular event, which takes place on the second Sunday of every month.
