Mark Zuckerberg's repudiation of Covid-era censorship is welcome. But it's not enough, say Josh Stylman and Jeffrey Tucker. Without a public reckoning they will just do it all again when a cause seems urgent enough.

Communists for the imam’s line

category international | anti-war / imperialism | other press author Friday June 20, 2008 18:48author by pat c Report this post to the editors

Yassamine Mather continues her analysis of Political Islam. Here she illustrates how the left both in Iran and Internationally had illusions in the Tehran government. Full text at link.

The defenders of Iran’s islamic regime, including those on the international left who maintain illusions in the radicalism of political islam, refer to Iran’s foreign policy, especially in the first decade of its existence after the 1979 uprising, as a sign of anti-imperialism within the islamic movement. But they are silent about Iran’s foreign policy during Irangate or in support of US policy during the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq.

It is therefore necessary to examine the ‘anti-imperialist’ credentials of the islamic regime in the early 1980s, even though no-one associated with the Iranian regime has ever claimed to be anti-imperialist, using instead terms such as ‘anti-west’ or ‘anti-foreigner’.

This is from the Communist Party of Great Britain?

So Political (?) Islam is the real enemy of Ms Mather, the Communist Party of Great Britain and us the people of the world? If the Muslims stay quiet and don't actually have any political aspirations based on their beliefs are they alright or is all Islam a problem for the Communist Party of Great Britain and their HOPOI 'comrade'? A good Muslim is a Muslim that has no 'Political' aspiration, is that what Ms Mather and the Communist Party of Great Britain are saying?

I think if anyone want's to better understand HOPOI, as in the Communist Party of Great Britain who founded it along with Ms Mather, they should visit the CPGB site and listen to Comrade Mark Fisher expound on Communism and all the different intellectual viewpoints.

(this is not a fake tape, it is from their own website)

You might also find it insightful to watch Comrade Fischer of the Communist Party of Great Britain attack the stop the war coalition and the Socialist Workers Party in order to better understand the hand in the glove of the HOPOI pupett and as such this article.

(Warning: do not operate machinery if listening to this nauseating, dizzying, pseudo intellectual hypnotic diahorrea)
