Jump To Comment: 2 1All throughout counties Leitrim, Longford and Roscommon housing estates thrown up in and around every small village with no regard for proper planning, design, or the environemnt now lie idle and decrepid. Stark reminders of the mindless greed and hubris of the wasted Celtic Tiger years when County Councils, governemnt, Auctioneers, developers and landowners all had their heads in the same trough. Unfortunatly for the country in general it now seems this same trough appears to be as toxic as our Pig Feed.
All around the outskirts of Cork too there's empty and half-finished housing. Seems to me the logical response is to take possession and make use of it
