The Limerick branch of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) will tomorrow, Sunday 27th Dec - the first anniversary of Israel's brutal attack on Gaza - commemorate the over 1,420 Palestinian fatalities of that tragic assault. At 11am on Patrick Stree, Limerick City, they will be erecting a 10ft 'Tree of Remembrance' with 88 branches and will be inviting members of the public to attach cards with the names of the victims to it.

Sean Clinton, an organiser of the action said: "The cards wil be colour coded - pink for female casualties, blue for male casualties and white for child casualties - thus allowing people to see instantly the demographic breakdown of the victims of Israel's merciless and indiscriminate attack. There will also be a book of condolences for people to sign."

Mr. Clinton concluded: "If you are in Limerick tomorrow, we urge you to take a moment of your time to remember the victims of the Gaza attack."
