Performance poetry at The Gallery Café, Gort

Friday May 26th at 10pm sees a late-night performance by Marty Mulligan

"When the poet Marty Mulligan takes to the stage to perform his "spoken word art" - be it in Galway, Dublin, or further afield, he makes sure he stresses to his audience that he is "Marty Mulligan - from Mullingar". So says The Westmeath Examiner interviewing this remarkable spoken-word poet, who will perform as part of the third 'The Forge at Gort' festival on Friday, March 26th at 10pm, upstairs in The Gallery Café, Gort, Co. Galway. Admission is free.

The festival is funded by Poetry Ireland and The Arts Council and individual sponsorship.
