REPUBLICAN NETWORK for UNITY (RNU) Ard Chomhairle Spokesperson, CARL REILLY has criticised today’s RUC/PSNI house raids in Derry City.

“Days after the announcement that British Military Intelligence has stepped up its menacing activities in the North. The homes of three RNU Ard Chomhairle members were simultaneously raided in Derry this morning by British Crown Forces. As well as, terrifying partners and young children, the RUC/PSNI and plain-clothes Intelligence Agents also seized telephones, computers and other personal items.

The Republican Network for Unity is a legitimate political pressure group and is appalled at another attempt to deflect our members from opposing Partition, Imperialism and British Policing in Ireland.

RNU call on all Nationalist members of the Policing Board and District Policing Partnerships (DPPs’) to publically denounce this blatant act of political policing and resign”.
