If Lucy Connolly was jailed for stirring up racial hatred, the same must go for BBC Director General Tim Davie, says Nick Rendell. Davie personally took the decision to broadcast Bob Vylan's antisemitic chant to millions.

Even if you're a Londoner, you probably didn?t notice that June 21st-29th was 'London Climate Action Week'. It was all talk, says Ben Pile ? exceptionally dull talk, bankrolled by the usual Green Blob billionaires.

As Wimbledon gets underway, its SW19 neighbours have to put up with a lot, from encroaching development to security checks to get home. Yet, unlike 1,000 refugees, they're shut out from the tennis, says Jo-Anne Nadler.

Sligo-based coursing club, Tubbercurry/Ballymote CC, facing prosecution!

A County Sligo-based coursing club, Tubbercurry/Ballymote CC, is to face prosecution for three alleged breaches of the Wildlife Act. Gardai have confirmed this today in a letter to the Irish Council Against Blood Sports.

The prosecution will relate to the club's netting of hares on Oyster Island, off the Sligo coast, for use in its high profile hare coursing event.

For years, locals have looked on helplessly as men armed with sticks, iron bars, and home-batons arrived in boats on the island to capture scores of hares for their live baiting festival.

Campaigners for a ban on hare coursing will await with interest the outcome of the upcoming court case.

Do I cc justice ahead for the Hare Coursing in Ireland? I hope so. Hares and dogs don't matter to the people who send greyhounds after a wild hare. Disposable commodities for their entertainment. Hare is banged about, dogs not "good" enough? Ah well they're only animals and sure we've had our fun. Hopefully the judge knows what justice is!

PLEASE --- I don't in the least object to your opposing the capturing of hares to be released in the presence of dogs (sick, sick, sick)

But there is something wrong with your thinking process when you say "Hares and dogs don't matter to the people who send greyhounds after a wild hare".

SEND dogs after hares? Are you under the impression that dogs are some sort of herbivore that has to be forced to behave like a predator? Are you attempting to impose human morality on other animals which have their own rightful place in the universe?

A dog does not have to be "sent" after a hare. If you don't want dogs chasing hares (and other critters) you have to restrain them.
