Tá leabhair staire trí Ghaeilge scríofa aige freisin ar Shéamus Ó Conghaile, Máirtín Ó Cadhain, Karl Marx agus Pádraic Ó Conaire. Tá go leor taighde déanta aige ar an tréimhse réabhlóideach i dtús an 20ú céad in Éirinn, agus cion na Gaeilge uirthi go háirithe.

Aindrias Ó Cathasaigh – The Easter Seven and 1916

Aindrias Ó Cathasaigh is a historian, who wrote the scripts for the series 1916: Seachtar na Cásca on TG4, and the book published in conjunction with it. He has written history books in Irish as well about James Connolly, Máirtín Ó Cadhain, Karl Marx and Pádraic Ó Conaire. He has done a good deal of research on the revolutionary period at the beginning of the 20th century, and the influence of the Irish language on it especially.

This talk will be in Irish, and simultaneous translation will be available.

The talk will take place in Coláiste Feirste, Beechview Park, Belfast.
