The idea of this meeting is to inform people of the secretly negotiated TTIP agreement between the USA and Europe. It is open to all. We hope to be able to help launch an automonous local Anti TTIP group that can work with unions, political groupings and others to defeat TTIP, by being separate from but co-operative with others. Dublin Tenants Association are launching a campaign for rent controls and security of tenure, to coincide with their submission to the Oireachtas housing committee. They are asking people to submit photos (anonymous) of themselves with a short sign telling people about their stories from the private rental sector. To mark Palestinian Prisoners’ Day 2016 the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign is honoured to present Palestinian-Israeli lawyer Aouda Zbidat from Addameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association.
