The Waterford branch of the Socialist Workers Party are to hold a public meeting on: ‘The Colombia Three: The Truth Behind The Case" with guest speaker John Connolly, the brother of Niall Connolly, one of the Colombia Three. Other speakers at the meeting are Jimmy Kelly of the Socialist Workers Party and Des Bonass of the Bring Them Home Campaign, who was an observer at the trial in Colombia. The meeting will take place in the ATGWU Union Hall, Keyser Street, Waterford on Thursday 22nd April at 8.00pm. As part of Ireland's EU Presidency, the EU environmental ministers will be meeting in Martin Cullen's constituency, Waterford on May 15th & 16th. The Waterford branch of the Irish Anti War Movement are to hold an activists meeting this Saturday at 3.00pm in the ATGWU Union Hall, Keyser Street, Waterford. The meeting is for all anti-war campaigners in Waterford and the south-east and posters and leaflets for the MArch 20th protest will be available for anyone who wants to take them away. There will also be more information on the bus from Waterford on March 20th. Preliminary arrangements for protests at the Bush visit in June will also be discussed. All are welcome.
