Listening to Lee Cain on UnHerd, it's clear that the architects of Britain's lockdown policy still think they saved the day. In reality, it was their catastrophic mismanagement that has left the Tories in such a pickle.

New Group / Project: Sharing Ireland

For direct sharing, cooperation and mutual aid

Sharing Ireland is an informal project to connect anyone in Ireland who is interested in non-commercial culture. We want to encourage varied and meaningful forms of direct sharing, cooperation and mutual aid.

Sharing Ireland is a forum for people in Ireland who are interested in practical ways of helping and supporting each other outside a commercial context. This help can be in the form of resource-sharing, the providing of a service or some other way.

This is not about barter or alternative currencies. This, instead, is about sharing - something more like a "gift economy".

Currently, the main forum for communication is the Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/SharingIreland/ . This is an open group which anyone can join. (Naturally, however, we politely request that only those with a genuine interest do so.)

A website is also in progress: http://www.sharingireland.net/ .

Anyone is welcome to get involved.
