WATCH: What is CycleConnects and why is it important?

Be advised consultation is open until Friday, November 11th

CycleConnects is a plan for new cycle network plans for 22 counties around Ireland and the consultation is open until Friday, November 11th. The network will help determine what projects will be funded by the National Transport Authority for years to come.

In this talk, the NTA will highlight what CycleConnects looks to achieve and why it aligns with national strategies and objectives. AECOM will then outline the process of how this was undertaken such as conducting international research on cycle networks, what data was collected and challenges/opportunities arising from developing a cycle network in each county.
