What the Fuck was our finance minister doing at the Bilderberg meeting 2012??

category national | anti-capitalism | opinion/analysis author Sunday June 10, 2012 23:33author by lefty Report this post to the editors

Michael Noonan attended the bilderberg meeting this year. Interesting that a key government official in charge of finance goes to a meeting with foreign banksters, financial terrorists and a host of global corporate evildoers.

Here is a link to the attendees at the 2012 Bilderberg meeting at Chantilly, Virginia, USA, 31 May-3 June 2012

Note the appearance of Michael Noonan alongside Peter Sutherland Chairman, Goldman Sachs International and Paul Gallagher, former Attorney General.

This gives rise to several questions:

What was the purpose of his attendance?

Was this funded by the Irish taxpayer?

And do our politicians serve the Irish people or are they in reality under the control of international powerbrokers with their own agendas regarding banking, environmental issues, labour costs, corporate taxation and social protections?

Stop believing government has power over you and stop participating in it by voting for any politician. Ignore them and they will go away with their armed gangs. It really is that simple.

It is you who are the simpleton if you believe that, you lifestyle anarchists should grow up someday and see reality -in any election the FF/FG usually requirethe votes of as little as 20-25% of population to grab power due to high abstention rates - they will still be here "with their armed gangs", if only 1% of the population votes.

Good question about Noonan.

It should be put in the form of a PQ in the Dail, he has to answer it or any such variation. I have uncovered interesting and useful data via that process.

The "Anarchist" comment; enough said.

How much power is wielded by the Bilderberg group? How often do its members pull the strings? We should be told.

It is probably more powerful than the Vatican, and that's saying a lot.

PQs have been asked and heres the answer. I thought the Bilderbergers would have covered most of the cost. Whats the point in being one of THEM if they don't pay the expenses?

The cost of Minister for Finance Michael Noonan’s attendance at the annual conference of the secretive Bilderberg group in the US this month was more than €4,300, he has told TDs.

He was invited to attend the meeting “given my position as Minister for Finance” and used the opportunity to tell fellow attendees of the opportunities that exist in Ireland for investors and multinational companies.

Mr Noonan, along with former attorneys general Paul Gallagher and Peter Sutherland, was one of 145 invited leaders and opinion formers who took part in the three-day conference of the western world’s movers and shakers in Chantilly, Virginia.

His attendance was queried by a number of TDs from Labour, Sinn Féin and the technical group, all of whom sought information in parliamentary questions on his discussions at the meeting and the cost.

Mr Noonan told the Deputies that he outlined the significant progress Ireland was making in restoring stability and growth to the economy.

Pat Nulty, who lost the Labour whip last year over opposition to budget cuts, said Mr Noonan’s response lacked detail.

“The Irish people have a right to know what their senior Ministers are saying at a meeting like this, and what stance they are taking on global issues.”
