It isn't so much that the Tories are getting more popular as that Labour is getting less so. Which illustrates a more general predicament for the Tories and any other party that might have aspirations to government.

Map for Shannon Blockade

Garda HQ provides technical support for Shannon Blockade on 6th December
Low quality Blockader Map
Low quality Blockader Map

now, we all want the Monster Blockade of Shannon Warport the 6th December to be an absolute ripper, don't we lads? And to be honest, everybody is sick of them flab-assed, whingeing AWOL Yank Stormtroopers in the country anyhow. So, in the seasonal spirit of co-operation and good cheer, etc., the boys in Ennis HQ have made this brave effort of a map, A4 size, just to be sure that no anarchist collective hell-bent on destruction should be led astray and accidentally hit Lidl's instead of the Imperialist Enemy - please bring all yer rowdyiest mates and use this baby to best effect - may the force be with ye's - together, we shall prevail and put them out, yeah!

We Gardai will therefore support Citizen's in the exercise of their lawful duty to set this disgraceful Government straight, and will be turning a glass eye to any high-jinx or mere youthful exuberance, but for anyone who might happen to accidentally be arrested, don't worry unduly - I will protect ye from that Judge Joseph "fucking lunatic" Mangan - a Mickey Finn slipped into his hot whiskey the morning of the hearing will ensure a double dose of the DT's when he wakes up, after court is safely over, and we can just tell him ye's are all tucked safely away in Limerick jail, ho ho ... senile dementia will cover the paperwork.

PS - as this is my first post to Indymedia and I am technically inept I have to ask somebody to follow the link and drag the High Quality version to the Shannon Blockade feature. Also, I'm putting my neck on the block for ye all here (if Supt. Kerin finds out, my ass is grass), and in return ask only that ye refrain from ripping the piss out of me unmercilessly on the day - Cheers

Sincerely, Insp. Kennedy
