Ringsend keeps up the Fight!

category dublin | bin tax / household tax / water tax | news report author Tuesday February 14, 2006 18:41author by Ringsend against the Bin Tax Report this post to the editors

Challenging DCC's non-collection

Locals met again this morning from 10am opposite Clan na Gael at the New Houses in Ringsend.
The lorry arrives.
The lorry arrives.

After 10.30 the bin lorry came around the corner as usual, met by a cheer!

The Postman was out and about delivering the Bills to householders for the Dublin City Council. Some people have demands for over E700.............

Locals continued to throw excess bags on board the bin truck. Very few bins were rejected this morning.

Last week the local garda said that the actions were a civil matter and said that the gardai would not use the injunction on locals who were disposing waste on the bin truck.

As usual there was much joviality and people are welcome to come down next Tuesday at 10 O'clock to Bremen road opposite Clan na Gael.
