From 6-8 June 2007, the G8 Summit – the meeting of the heads of state and government of the USA, Canada, Japan, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany and Russia – will take place in Heiligendamm in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on Germany’s Baltic Sea.
There is a wide range of actions planned around the evnt, with hundreds of thousands expected to take to the streets in protest at the harsh and oppressive economic policies of the group of super-rich nations.
A broad spectrum of groups and tactics are involved and the infrastructure that has been set up over hte past two years to accomodate the massicv enumbers expected is impressive

Anyone interested in going to the actions is advised to get to Hamburg (by whatever transportation they approve of/can afford) and check in at the Convergence Centre there or alternatively get to Rostock and check in there.
But if you're travelling from Irelnad-come to the meeting in Seomra Spraoi for info, skills and advice sharing and logistical exchanges!

All welcome
