6,000km walker for peace returns to Ireland After the marathon walk for peace across Australia, Mr Frank Muldowney, will return to Ireland in early December. From a young age, I always believed peace will be everywhere some day, because it is most wanted. I was innocent of course and indeed growing up did doubt my own beliefs. In 1985 at 19, I suffered from a brain haemorrhage and everything changed. A normal life was not set for me now, which was a blessing as from here on I could live my own way, following my own heart, my own thoughts and my imaginations. My health improved by travellng to many places and I felt the desire for peace was in everyones heart, in every country, but no one knows how to achieve it and because of it, it is never discussed. I felt I had to try to find away to talk about it and bring that deep desire for peace again, but I didn't know how. |

Thing is, they probably only let you on to try to re-enforce the stereotype that people who are anti war are all a bit nutty when it comes down to it. In a way you were playing into their hands.
As an example, witness what they have done to the animal rights movement. They wheel out that same 10 year old clip with the balaclavas or interview the most out there person on a protest and the average joe is left thinking "what a bunch of nutters they are" and wants nothing to do with them.
Anti war guy, wheeling an invisible rabbit around the world? Yep, that'll serve our purposes nicely. He's the man we'll interview.
Hope you managed to turn the tables and beat them at their own game. Are there any recordings online of the interviews so we could listen to them?
How are the feet? :-)
Why possible difference can such pointless lunacy serve?
..well, the persuit of happiness is the one thing we all follow, and each persons role is different. I admire anyone who 'tries' to made a difference. It is the ones who tries nothing are the ones who make pointless comments. Congratulations Mr M.
