national / environment / press release Wednesday May 12, 2021 21:14 by foie
Ireland's position on bee mortality permitted by pesticides questioned.

Failure to give Ireland’s EU position on pesticides a ‘democratic deficit’.

Six environmental groups have written an ‘Open Letter’ to four Ministers seeking Ireland’s position on the limits of mortalities permitted through the use of pesticides.

The groups are seeking Ireland's position on pesticides in last March’s meeting of the EU’s Standing Committee on Plant, Animal, Food and Feed and what position the State plans to take at the forthcoming meeting in June.

According to the letter to Ministers Ryan, Hackett, Heydon, and McConalogue, a majority of the Member States now favour at least doubling the 5% permitted threshold of mortalities after pesticide treatments (which can be repeated through the growing season) with some member states proposing to allow as much as 25% of a colony to be destroyed under the revised ‘Bee Guidance Document’. read full story / add a comment

This report from GreatGameIndia exposes what is going on with the Pfizer Vaccine

The Israeli People Committee (IPC), a civilian body made of leading Israeli health experts, has published its April report into the Pfizer vaccine’s side effects indicating damage to almost every system in the human body. If the findings by IPC are genuine, then Pfizer vaccine is linked to more deaths in Israel than AstraZeneca’s in the whole of Europe. The findings are catastrophic on every possible level. This is a detailed report that highlights the most devastating findings. read full story / add a comment

Born in controversy but then ignored in its youth, the film Salt of the Earth has matured beautifully into a classic film in the neorealist style. Set in Zinc Town, New Mexico, a mining community with a majority of Mexican-Americans strike for working conditions equal to those of the white, or “Anglo” miners. The town and the mine is run by Delaware Zinc Inc. who refuse to negotiate with the workers and the strike goes on for months. The story focuses on Ramon Quintero (Juan Chacón) and his wife Esperanza Quintero (Rosaura Revueltas) who is pregnant with their third child. Ramon is arrested by police and beaten in prison at the same time his wife gives birth to their new baby. read full story / add a comment

It is quite amazing just as Europe is beginning to ease lookdowns due to rising public impatience that a new scare comes along at just the right time for the governments trying to impose these pointless lockdowns for which there are over 37 peer reviewed scientific papers proving they do not work.

For the past few weeks, the 24x7 constant fear and propaganda has switched its focus to India to give us the impression that half country is dying. So Lets break down the figures and put things in context.

Garda break entry into bedroom of Pat Sweeney to inform him they are abducting his kids.
national / crime and justice / news report Monday May 03, 2021 21:12 by 1 of indy   text 2 comments (last - wednesday may 05, 2021 22:03)   image 1 image
On Saturday night at 3:30am the man, Pat Sweeney, who filmed Garda breaking up a mass in a church in Athlone just one week ago, was woken by Garda at the end of his bed to find they were taking him to Longford Garda station there and then because they were "concerned" about his health. It turns out they were using powers under the Mental Health Act to imply he was not well and that his kids were somehow at risk. In the video / audio of the event, you can hear the Garda say in response to his question -"where are my kids" -that they are being taken into care by TUSLA who have farmed them out to someone else.

This is a new low for the government and represents a scandalous abuse of power to target a man who happened to expose their evil and criminal ways the previous week. Thankfully the video of this event has gone viral but not anywhere on mainstream media.

High Court quashes last 8 of Bord na Mona’s ‘ghost’ planning applications
Lack of public consultation leads to quashing of 10 An Bord Pleanala consents

The High Court has quashed decisions of An Bord Pleanala to grant leave to apply for substitute consent, in respect of a number of peat extraction and quarry applications. The two-step, ‘substitute consent’ system, by which developers had to make ‘threshold’ applications to regularise previous unauthorised activities before applying for planning permission, was found not to comply with the EIA Directive by the Supreme Court in July 2020 in cases brought by An Taisce, the National Trust, and Peter Sweetman in relation to a quarry in County Kildare. read full story / add a comment

The time has come. Last year it was a conspiracy theory. Now a vaccine passport society is upon us. New Zealand has already crossed the line to enforcing it and has entered the land of tyranny.

The call is loud and clear. They want you to be vaccinated in order to travel and very soon it will be for attending outdoor events. It is no longer hidden. Next step will be for shops, pubs and restaurants. And all for a flu like disease for which there is a 99.99% survival rate. This is the blueprint for total control of your life. And it is time to put a stop to it. read full story / add a comment

Almost no coverage of the protest can be found in the mainstream media. Once again it falls to RT.com to do the reporting and with video coverage scattered across twitter. Here is their report

Thousands of protesters have descended on London to protest the British government’s ongoing coronavirus restrictions. Though pubs and shops have reopened, stiff limits on gatherings remain in place.

Holding signs reading “Freedom is non-negotiable” and “No health passports,” the demonstrators gathered in the capital on Saturday. Billed by its organizers as the “biggest street party London has ever seen,” the rally drew thousands of participants unhappy with the lingering restrictions on gatherings and movement, and opposed to the government’s vague plans to introduce so-called ‘vaccine passports’.
