The DUP’S Sammy Wilson has recently accused anti racism groups of exaggerating the scale of racism to access public funding. On Thursday 27th August we will be having a "Close Ireland's Fur Farms" protest (instead of Tuesday leafleting sessions), outside the Dept. of Agriculture, as they are responsible for licensing these death camps. As the first draft of the new Animal Welfare Bill is scheduled to be published in September, which has the potential to ban fur farming, this will be a particularly important event. read full story / add a comment
