After 6 hours of sitting around, the cases were heard in front of an almost empty courtroom. 4 people were up for mention regarding the banner drop last month, and Owen Rice was up for mention yet again for arrests that took place almost two years ago (and for which his co-arrestee was acquitted) There were a number of submissions, and then adjourments. read full story / add a comment ![]()

A gulfstream jet, with a strange registration, being guarded by Gardai, and two men in suits being whisked away. read full story / add a comment

Erased tapes, missing evidence, Conor's third arm, and the invisible red book all played a part in this saga. The notes don't do it justice.... Defending himself, Conor Cregan had the bearing of a trial lawyer as he shredded the prosecutions case against him. read full story / add a comment

Shell International with the cooperation of the Irish Government, the Courts and the Judicial System are attempting to bully the people of Rossport, Co Mayo off their land, ignoring their rights and wishes, and having little or no regard for safety regulations, planning law and environmental concerns. This, in an effort to build an extremely dangerous pipeline close to their houses, to extract gas and oil from the Corrib Gas field, once a national asset but now the property of private multinationals, thanks to an extraordinary deal done with ex -minister Ray Burke, since convicted and sent to prison for corruption. read full story / add a comment

![]() ![]() While planespotting OUTSIDE Shannon Warport in broad daylight last Sunday, some planespotters found themselves on the receiving end of a fit of madness from one of the APOs who decided somehow that he had jurisdiction outside his patch. Besides manhandling a young lady and her camera, Airport Police Inspector Mike Hogan tried to pass himself off as a member of An Garda Siochana, which is a criminal offence. read full story / add a comment![]()

Peace activist Ed Horgan (ex Irish Army Commandant) has been arrested at Shannon Airport for taking a picture of a US Hercules aircraft. This picture was taken in a public area. It looks as though the Irish State will stoop to nothing in its desparation to hide the evidence of illegal US troop movements. A private jet similar to the ones chartered by the CIA for illegal transport of prisoners for the purposes of torture was also spotted by him. He was unable to confirm this because he was arrested.

'The Oireachtas had not empowered a District Court judge to manage the health status, social activities and/or lifestyle of a resident of their district. The threat of an indeterminate remand in custody could have no basis in law and the conditions of bail were not in any way rationally connected to ensuring the integrity of a criminal trial.' read full story / add a comment ![]()
